Kainalu Kaaihue '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, my name is Kainalu Kaaihue and I go to Mililani High School on Oahu, Hawaii.  Being on an island, I have learned a lot of important family values with a big and loving family like mine.  With their support, I am willing to travel across the country to broaden my horizons.  I see myself going to a school where I could really grow and a school that would challenge me academically as well as athletically.  A program where it would prepare me for life and also my future.  Wanting to work hard to earn a college degree is a goal yes, but using what I've learned on or off the court afterwards is the ultimate goal.  

What makes me a good candidate is that I am a really passionate worker.  I will work at anytime given to me whether its early mornings or late nights.  I will also work on any free time that I may have to better myself on the basketball court and in the classroom.  If given the chance, you will see that I am the hardest worker you will ever see.  What makes me different from other recruits is  my good characteristics of being coachable and catching on very quickly.  With that, I help guide my team mates to understand what the play is and what we are trying to accomplish if help is needed.
