Personal Statement
I am a 7 footer who can shoot the ball and run the floor. I literally and figuratively grew into my basketball skills and body while living in New Zealand from 2016-2018. I am a kid with a big heart, living in a small resort town in Idaho. I have seen and played different styles of basketball while living overseas and and after returning to the US. Coaches who have worked with me have described me as a player "with a big upside" for development of the physical talents with which I have been blessed. Due to moving around the world I have been challenged academically, having adapted to different styles of learning, and am looking forward to my college education. I look forward to hearing from you about basketball opportunities at the next level of play.
The 2019-2020 season is off to a great start. I had 20 points, 9 rebounds and 8 blocks in a game against rival Grangeville High School. A team our high school had not won against since 2010. We won 49-39!
I played football defensive tackle and wide receiver this year. My first year playing football. I learned a lot about toughness and leverage. Our team played in the state championship, the first time in 15 years. We lost 14-13 but I learned so much.
