I play varsity football, basketball, baseball and compete in track for my High School. When I'm not playing sports, or working on school or club activities I enjoy being in the outdoors. Fishing is my favorite pastime. I also enjoy working on the family farm with my dad. There are a lot of long hours, but the work is rewarding. Working on the family farm has created a very strong work ethic that transfers into my academics and athletics as well.
I had a serious injury as a sophomore during my football career. This injury taught me a lot about myself and my drive to be an athlete. Following surgery I had months of physical therapy which I worked on nonstop to be able to return to the court my Junior year. I learned that I have the ability to overcome great obstacles. Not being able to play my sophomore year I had a new role on my teams and I learned how to be a better team leader during this time.
