When I was four, my parents started taking me to watch the local junior college basketball team, College of Southern Idaho. That is when I started dreaming about playing college basketball. My parents were both college athletes and they helped me to understand the hard work and commitment that it takes to play at a college level.
My family moved to Utah near Salt Lake which increased my opportunities to play highly competitive sports. I played basketball and tackle football for 7 years in Utah before moving back to Idaho. I currently play for Pocatello High School. I am grateful for the athletic opportunities and coaches that I currently have because I know they are preparing me to play at even higher levels. When I think about my progression in basketball combined with my academic accomplishments, I am very excited about future college opportunities.
