Starting my high school basketball career within a program in which things weren’t going the right direction seemed like it couldn’t benefit me as a person or player in the beginning. But over time it proved to me that I have what it takes to be a leader. Around my sophomore year I developed so many attributes to become a leader and a work ethic I hadn’t developed before. My team pushed me and others to be the best we could be. We ended up winning multiple conference championships and reached regionals multiple times. Through all of this work and dedication I truly believe in myself to perform at the next level. I believe if given the opportunities that those of a college student athlete is given in relation to guidance and companionship my play and skill level could sky-rocket. My character and personality has matured over my last 3 years of high school because of my coach and I truly believe I can represent a college program to what ever standard they feel is necessary. I am truly prepared to be a leader for a competitive college program.
