Gavin Thimsen '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gavin Thimsen, I am a 6’1” shooting guard. I am in the class of 2023 and have been striving to pursue my goal to play at the college level. I am a skilled offensive and defensive player. I can finish through defenders, pull up for mid-range shots or hit outside threes. As much of a scorer I can be, I also can create open looks for my teammates, like hitting small slots to my teammates or passing up head for a fast break. My quickness and ball reading helps me on my defensive side. I can stay with defenders or pick of passes that I see happening. As much as I care about basketball, I am dedicated in school, and I have high expectations for myself that I focus on every day.  I believe hard work beats talent and I will continue to work on and prove that I can play at any level.
