Darius (DJ) Hampton '25 Recruiting Profile

 I am an A student who believes in the importance of education as much as I believe in the importance of sports. It is through basketball that I have found my passion and dedication.

Looking back, I have enjoyed lots of sports. Baseball, wrestling, football, and soccer all had an impact on me, but it wasn't until I tried basketball that I found what I am most passionate about. It has become a huge part of my life.

Besides basketball, I also have a special love for music and cooking. Music is my escape; it helps me relax and focus. Cooking is just something I like to do. I am a brother to 5 sisters and 1 brother. I also have a 2 year old niece and a baby nephew. We have a big blended family. 

 I am excited about my future and where basketball will take me. I plan to use my talents to pursue my dreams while staying true to my values and who I am as a person.
