Michael Petrella '17 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my basketball career I have learned to grow as a teammate and as an individual player. I am currently a junior  going into my spring AAU season. My goals have always been to be the best player that I can be, I will put in the extra hours in the gym, I will stay after practice and work on things until I get them down. Even though I come off the bench I try to be a leader in anything I do, whether that be in school or on the court. Whenever I am out on the court I will give it all I got for whichever team that I play for, and I think that is what sets me apart from other players. The meaning of student-athlete is also being a student first, and I will always work my hardest in school. I also coach an elementary intramural basketball league, and I love watching the kids enjoy the game of basketball and grow as a player.
