Noah Newton '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Noah Newton.  I'm in the Sacred Heart-Griffin class of 2020, a 2A basketball school in Springfield, Illinois.  My immediate goals are to finish high school with a high GPA and enjoy a rewarding basketball season my Senior year.  This should prepare me to follow my dream of playing basketball at the next level where my basketball skills can become a valuable asset to the men's basketball program.

I have taken many honors classes during my first three years of high school while playing an important role on our school basketball team as Point Guard and Shooting Guard.  My current GPA is a little under 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.  I have balanced study time with basketball workouts, cross fit training, and work on the farm and mowing yards.  I have been a member of the Varsity basketball team since my Freshman year.  I was a starter my Sophomore and Junior years with several games where I scored in double digits.  I have played for the Illinois Irish AAU program since I was 13 years old competing against some of the top players around the nation.  For the past few years I have trained privately with a man who now plays professional basketball in Europe.  I am not a selfish or flashy player.  I always work hard and try my best at everything I do.
