  Update 3-23-15 > I was just named to the ILLINOIS Coaches All-State Honorable Mention Team  

  Update 3-15 > I just completed my senior basketball season. Our team finished one win short of winning the conference championship. I had a good rewarding year making First Team All-Conference and two All-Tourney teams. I was also just chosen to play in our Central ILLINOIS North/South All Star game in mid March. I will continue to work on my game and just started my off season weight training to help elevate my game for the next level.

Update 11-14 > I continue to work on my strength and quickness in the off season to improve my game. I have just completed a 12 week vertical jump, quickness program using plyometrics and resistance leg bands. To date my vertical jump has increased by 4".

I started playing competitive basketball at St. Mary’s school through the 6th grade. I then moved on to Taylorville Junior & Senior High school teams being a starter in each season. I just ended my summer AAU season playing on the Sky Ice Elite team from Decatur IL.  We played in top tournaments all over the Midwest with the highlight being the Chicago Summer Jam NCAA event. I am looking forward to my 2015 senior year working hard together and leading my team into the post season. I have been taught the game by my dad first, then many coaches and continue to learn. I can score and defend down on the block or spread the floor as a 3pt shooter and passer.

   Off the court, I study hard to maintain a high GPA. I am on the High Honor Roll and was on the Academic All Conference team for basketball and golf. I was selected as an executive board member of our new 2015 Purple Reign student body organization. I am active in my schools key club organization volunteering on various service projects. I am also serving on the executive planning committee of  my church youth group.
