Lucas Gibson '13 Recruiting Profile

I am 6'3" senior center, power forward, shooting guard from Tremont, IL.  I have been playing high school basketball for fours years, three years of which I have been a varsity starter.  I earned most improved after my sophomore basketball season.  My senior year of basketball, my team voted be at the MVP of the season for my leadership on the floor and coming through for us in important games.

Many people have told me that I have started late for some schools to find me.  Knowing this, I still decided to push forward and see how well I could be put out there.  I committed to this so I am going to follow through.  I am looking to study law enforcement or corrections.  I live in Illinois although I have singled out some states that I would be interested in going to school at, I am open to any offers that come through.  I have no idea of what level I could play at. So far my GPA stands at a 3.1 with an ACT score of 17.  Although I still maintain a B average, I still need attention in the classroom to make sure I understand the concepts of the lecture.  I am a hard worker and I try to follow through with everything that I say I will do.  As long as I put my mind to something, nothing can stop me.
