Having had four surgeries in the span of two years has humbled me and really made me appreciate the game of basketball. I started playing basketball around the sixth grade and started to find passion and drive for it around the 9th grade. My work ethic has allowed me to improve every season and I feel I am on a steady incline, not only on the court but also in the classroom. Last season I was dealing with a hernia that turned out to be a cyst after 4 surgeries, having to fight through the pain that came with it during the season ( now 100% healthy). I have always welcomed the word adversity which is the type of discipline attitude I would bring to any team.
As a two sport athlete in basketball and football I have three years of varsity experience. Through those experiences, they fueled me to continue to work towards my goal to further my passion of playing basketball in college while earning my college degree.
