I aspire to perform and be a leader at an institution where basketball has become a passion of the school as well as maintaining an academic standard at the highest degree (4.0+). I’m a 6’5” 205# shooting guard/small forward for Fishers High School and AAU Team Teague and at this point in my career I have a 4.2 GPA, I’m the captain of my school team, I can handle the ball, I can shoot from outside the arc or I can dominate inside the paint. I am equipped to lead and motivate individuals to a common goal and I can play any position 1-4, but I prefer the role of a shooting guard or small forward. I have also trained alongside NBA players such as Marcus and Jeff Teague and Gary Harris, and receive instruction from them occasionally.

In my sophomore year I grew to become a varsity starter at my position but was forced to miss a large part of the season due to thumb surgery to repair a torn tendon. From my time sitting out I learned the true importance of being a leader both with actions and verbal influence. I feel that I can bring the role of a scorer, floor general, and all-around-energy player to any team I am on.

I‘ve been playing basketball since kindergarten and I have always loved the game. Over the course of playing, some of my notable awards are being named an NYBL All Star, I played up with the 2018 class with Team Harris this past year in the Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour tournaments, I was ranked 2nd at the Prep Hoops 250 camp for my state, I was invited to the Jay Bilas Skills Camp in North Carolina later this year, I made the Hoosier Crossroads Conference 2017-2018 All-Conference Boys' Basketball team this year and I was a 2018 ALL-USA Indy-Area Super Team Honorable Mention! I currently hold the 4th highest 3-pt percentage in Fishers School history, I led the team in scoring and rebounds this year and I received the 2017-2018 MVP award. Current 3-pt Field Goal Percentage: 42.9%

Current FT Percentage: 74%+

16 games this season scoring in double figures, including a career high of 27 points

13 games this season with six or more rebounds

17 games this season while shooting 50% or better from the field

My high school team competes in the largest Indiana class and I'll be the first one to say that I started the season a little slow as I transitioned into my new role as the leader on the team, but I averaged 12 points and 6 rebounds per game overall.  Once I settled into my new role, my play greatly improved over the season and I ending averaging between 15-20 points & 8-12 rebounds per game the second half of the season. Our team finished with a record of 12-12 with the seventh ranked schedule in the state and we fought hard, but came up short in the sectional championship game.

My high school coach has also offered the following comments about me and my performance this year:

“Terry has transformed himself into one of the most versatile players in the Indianapolis area. At 6’5” he is able to play multiple positions offensively while we utilize his ability to defend both in the basket area and on the perimeter. Our team’s success this season has been in large part to Terry’s continued development and selflessness to lead in so many ways. As you will be able to tell in many of the clips he possesses a great deal of basketball skill and natural talent. I only see Terry’s role and output continuing to grow in our program and his commitment to helping establish our culture has been exactly what we have needed.”
