Matthew Chavez '22 Recruiting Profile

My names Matthew Chavez and I’m competitive, hardworking, and I want the best for myself. I’m currently a junior about to be a senior and I never got the chance to shine on the hardwood. I’ve been cut my freshman and junior year because I wasn’t in the portage system and the high school already had their team picked. It’s been a bumpy road for me but since our recent coach got fired, I believe this is my year to shine and I’m excited for what our new coach has for portage high school. Everyday is a grind whether it’s conditioning or a skill workout. I can’t wait for my senior season to start up.
