Personal Statement

Hello! My name is Kieran Tewari and I am a junior at Yorktown High School in Yorktown, Indiana. One of my biggest goals in life is to play basketball at the collegiate level, wherever that may be. Some of my strengths include leadership and being able to score at all 3 levels. I’m different from other recruits in multiple reasons, including being able to lead and help my teammates be the best that they can be.  I am also above average in terms of academics, as I currently have a 3.8 GPA. Hopefully this has given some information about me, and I will hopefully be able to tell you more about me in the future.

  • Coach Bennett was New Castle high school basketball coach. He won the 2006 class 3A state championship in 2006. He has coached and trained several players attending universities like Butler, Purdue, Ball State, etc...I currently train with him once a week. We work on ball handling, shooting, use of ball screens and key mental concepts.

  • Pete was a successful player for Yorktown High School, where I currently attend. He played collegiality at Butler University where he excelled in shooting. He is Butler's all time career three point percentage leader at 48%. He played professionally for 6 years oversees. He has been an assistant coach at Scecina High School in Indianapolis, IN. Currently he is part of the training staff at Indy Hoops Academy. I have worked with Pete for the past 5+ years. We work on offensive skill development: ball handling and shooting specifically.

  • Dennis is founder of Next Pro where he trains athletes on basketball. Dennis is a former division 1 basketball player at New Mexico State and Ball State University. We work on both the physical and mental aspects of basketball skill development.
