My name is Nate Rafael, a 5'9" combo guard from Central Tech and a member of the North Toronto Huskies. I’m a focused, unranked underdog working every day to become one of the best guards in my class. My ultimate goals are to earn a Division 1 scholarship and one day make the NBA. What separates me from other recruits is my mindset. I approach the game with discipline, leadership, and a relentless work ethic — I’m in the gym 5–6 days a week, studying film with purpose, and constantly improving my body and IQ. I’m a two-way floor general who can facilitate, defend, and take over when needed, modeled after players like John Wall, Dwyane Wade, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Academically, I stay focused in the classroom just like I do on the court, because I know character and commitment off the floor are just as important. I'm coachable, vocal, and driven by something deeper than rankings — I’m chasing long-term greatness, not hype.
I believe I can bring energy, leadership, and winning habits to any program that gives me a shot.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
