I started playing basketball in Madrid, Spain when I was 7. Ever since I have been obsessed with the sport and played it every day. I started really wanting something out of it when I was in grade 7, once I was in Canada and felt like I could get somewhere with it. Playing at a high level college is a goal that I have been striving for a couple years since I know how good the basketball is at that level.
I am a 6 foot point guard. The skills that set me apart from my competition are my ball handling and my passing and IQ. I try and make a connection with all of my teammates in order to get the best out of them on the court and build chemistry once we are out there playing. I pride myself in working harder than the hardest working guy in the gym in order for me to be satisfied with my performance that being in practice or during the game.
I try to never take too long a break from competition by playing prep basketball and participating in AAU. I lift every day in order to improve my athleticism and strength, something I believe will help my performance on the court.
I am a good student as I have achieved a GPA of 3.54. I also volunteered my time with running sessions targeted at youth in order to get more kids to be active and to give them an opportunity to enjoy the game of basketball as much as I do.
I want to go to a college where I am a good fit athletically and also have a good medicine program. I am open to going to any state as long as it is a high level school, and I can develop within the program. I am excited for the prospect of hopefully playing college basketball.
