Pierce Strutt I have been playing basketball since I was 7 years old. As I was always a head taller than my peers, I have had to learn how to play guard later on in my basketball career. This has been a blessing because now, I can play and defend multiple positions very well.
I believe I am an outstanding recruit because I understand the game and people very well. For most of my career, I have always been a starter and leading scorer or playmaker. This year, I decided to attend a prepatory school and at the same time, switch from a forwad to a guard. This has been a difficult transition to make at a higher level of play, however, it has considerably improved my game. Also, I have learned to compete for play time by bringing my best to each game.
Being on this team and playing with high level international players has also been a very rewarding experience.
Academically, I am a solid student and look forward to helping people, preferably in the medical field. This year, having travelled out of province (state) to all 65 games, I have learned to be organized and stay on top of my studies independently.
