Personal Statement

My name is Atirieli (Adriel in English), I am 19 years old and I am from the Fiji Islands.

I completed high school in Fiji in 2020 and then commenced University in Fiji in February 2021 to study Architecture.

Unfortunately because of the COVID Pandemic in Fiji, studies were disrupted because of the limitations and challenges with online schooling in Fiji.

I am seeking the opportunity to attend college in the USA to pursue an Architecture which is not available in Fiji and pursue my other love which is Basketball.

I would regard myself as an above average student academically as I have always been in the top 10 in class and received prizes for academic achievements.

I am a keen sportsman having participated in Swimming, Discuss and Basketball.

I believe I will be a good candidate because I am a hard worker, disciplined and work well with everyone.
