Henry Lau '25 Recruiting Profile

Since I first started playing basketball at the age of 8 I’ve been driven to work tirelessly, developing my game with hopes of eventually playing college basketball.

My collegiate goals revolve around both athletic and academic excellence. I aspire to contribute to my future team's success with my athleticism, defensive presence, and well-rounded offensive game. As a true student of the game, I have been told I am very coachable. I care deeply for my teammates both on and off the court. I feel these attributes will help me fit in with my future team. Having the opportunity to learn and take classes that I truly have an interest in, surrounding myself in an environment of support and getting away from the norm I have grown accustomed to in Australia is something I very much look forward to.

What sets me apart is my holistic approach to student-athlete life, integrating principles from athletics, academics, and social spheres to foster consistency in my character. Embracing unfamiliar environments will enhance my adaptability, crucial for navigating college challenges.
