Mario Traian Dinu '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Mario, I was born in Romania, but I live in Almería, Spain.  I'm 17 (2004), and my actual team is ''CB Almería'', when I finish high school, I would love to play in USA. I am a very hard working person, I always try to get better day by day.

As a player, I am a defensive leader, playing defense is one of my favourite things in basketball. In attack, I am always trying to create space going through the rim, or making quick ball movements, always watching the weak point of the adverse defense. Last season I achieved one of my personal objectives, making my debut in the 5th Spanish division, being one of the youngest of the team. I hope I will reach the 4th division next year with the first senior team of the club, being a junior player.

Also, I am a semi-profesional cello player. I have been playing for 10 years. At the moment, I form part of the city Orquestra too, OCAL. Music is my favorite hobbie apart from swimming and cycling.

In college, I would love to study Medicine or another major related with Health studies.
