I am currently in the 12th-grade at McKinnon Secondary College in Melbourne Australia. I am the Vice Captain of the School with 2500 students and a member of the Australian Olympic Change Maker organisation run by the Australian Olympic Committee.
I am a 6’6”, 182 lbs, athletic 18yr old who has been playing basketball since I was 6 years old. I currently play on several basketball teams, between my high school team and representing my disctrict, The McKinnon Basketball Association in both Youth League (VYC U23) and U20's, in the Victorian Junior Basketball League. I've been selected in the State Development Program, an elite developement program run by my State's Governing body for the top 20 players in the State for 4 years running.
I have a strong ball IQ with excellent court vision, passing, ball handling, have become a great finisher and 3-point shooter. I'm an unselfish player and I believe that I help make the players on my team better. I pride myself on my defense and my coaches typically ask me to defend the best player on any oposition team. My coaches typically compliment me on the fact that I’m a hard worker, very coachable and that I have a major impact on the game.
While basketball is a huge part of my life, I realize that I’m attending college to get a great education that will prepare me for the next chapter of my life. At this point, I would like to study Sports Science/Management with a veiw to continue to be invloved in sports at a professional level. As a result the best fit for me will be a college with high academic standards while also having a strong basketball program.
