I am a 6’2 guard from Ireland/Hungary, who’s living in Belgium attending the European School of Brussels 4. I do my schooling in English, as I am a native English speaker. I take AP chemistry, biology and geography. I speak 5 Languages, 4 of them fluently (English, Hungarian, German and French) and Spanish on a B2 level. I want to go on to major in biochemistry in college, and wish to do so on an athletic scholarship.
From a basketball standpoint, I feel like I would be a fit in any program. I strive to be the hardest worker day in and day out, I hate losing and if it was up to me, I’d be in the gym working on my craft 24 hours a day. Here in Belgium I play for the no.1 ranked team. We are first in the top division and are hoping to win back to back championships this year. My playing style is quite unique, as I slide from the 1 to the 2 very frequently during the course of the game. As the primary ball handler I make quick, precise decisions to make sure my teammates are involved and playing their best, but I also know how to read a situation and get a bucket if necessary. At the 2, I am mostly used as the team’s go to shooter. I read off ball screens and know when to curl, flare or use the screen by reacting to the defense. I love playing D and I take pride on getting multiple defensive stops in a row. I believe defense is the most important aspect of the game of basketball, and I’m not scared to guard anybody.
