Pedro Moniz '21 Recruiting Profile

After practicing and competing in Kung Fu for 4 years (5 to 9 years old), I discovered Basketball! Since then I've been growing my passion and all my available time is dedicated to learn, study and practice this beautiful game.

My dream is to continue to develop and learn as much as I can, so that hopefully I can reach and play at the highest level.

My individual skills/abilities are strong, with strong hand skills and good shooting technique. I'm passionate about this game and I work everyday to reach my goals. 

I've been playing basketball at club level and was captain of the team last year. In four years I've have won 3 times best player of the team and 2 times the dedication award.

I like to push the boundries and develop my mind in multiple categories such as drawing, to push my creative side. I speak 3 languages (English, Portuguese and Spanish.)

I’m also dedicated to my studies. Still in high School (10th Grade going to 11th). My grades are always 90% or higher as my goal is to get a Engineering college degree.
