Being someone that has moved from country to country a lot as a kid, I used sports to build friendships and relationships with others.

I started playing in Cape Verde around the 5th Grade, and as I was growing, so did my passion for Basketball. Now that I am highly focused on my Higher Education, and wanting to pursue studying Aeronautical Engineering, basketball seems to be a good way to lead me into a good university in the US. Being considered, "too short" to play basketball is also one of the main reasons I continue working hard and try to perfect my craft, to show that as long as my will power and determination is high I'll be able to over come any obstacle in the way of my ultimate goal.

Moved from Cape Verde to the Netherlands, for a higher quality of education, and to be eligible for various universities around the world, and I am always considerate and focused on my academic results when it comes to ranking my priorities.
