I did not grow up playing basketball like most athletes at the collegiate level, I played other sports such as football, cricket and swimming. At the age of fifteen years old, being taller than my peers, my father told me I should try try basketball. The first time I held a ball in my hands felt a strong connection and after only a few days of training, I grasped the feel for the game almost instantly and that is when I knew this was the sport for me.
I am a great shooter and ball handler which I can use not only to create for myself but also for my teammates, I can score at all three levels and also take pride in my defensive capabilities. I may not be the most skilled player on the court court, but I can bet that I am always the most hard working. I am a very coachable player and loves to learn and help others get better as well. I see myself as a great role model and someone you can look up to, not only on the court but also in the classroom.
I work just as hard off the court as I do on the court to stay ahead of the class and maintain a high GPA. I want to attend a college where I can pursuit a career in Aviation and Aeronautics and to play among the most skilled players where I can develop my skills to maximize my potential and become the best student-athlete possible.
