basketball has always been in my life it has kept me off the street and has helped me get through a lot of adversity I was facing at a young age. I grew up in a rough neighbourhood where my mom tried her hardest to keep me off the streets, we would sit at home and watch basketball most nights and watching it made me fall in love with the game from when I started playing nonstop. eventually, when I was in the 3rd grade I tried out for my basketball team even though you had to be at least in the 4th or 5th grade to make it but my coach told me I was so good that he just couldn't cut me and from then I knew this was something I wanted to carry with me long term and have been hard at work every day trying my hardest to get better and learn as much as possible and I am confident enough in myself to say that if I'm given a chance I will certainly not let anybody down.
