I believe that "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."
I have been training to be an athlete and the best version of myself since the age of 2-1/2 years old. I have competed locally, nationally and internationally winning hundreds of medals including Gold for Manitoba and Silver in Continuous Sparring for Team Canada at the World Karate and Kickboxing tournaments.
I have taken those years of blackbelt mentality training, determination and dedication, and have applied it to my passion and goal to play college/university/professional basketball. I apply the mantra of ""Fear not the man who has practised 10,000 kicks once. Fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times" to my basketball training and game.
I value empathy, doing what is right, giving back, and making a difference. My inner strength and the desire to want to lead in all that I do, along with the support of my family, drives me to be successful in my academics and basketball. Being coachable, respectful, a team player, dependable, and consistent is all a part of who I am.
