Gavin Vaughters '26 Recruiting Profile

Like a lot of students in my age group, I fell in love with basketball watching Kobe Bryant- but- I truly fell in love with playing basketball when I watched old clips of Dennis Rodman. My strengths on the court are my IQ, my ability to make opportunities for my teammates, my stamina, and my hustle. Basketball has taught me about how to be a supportive friend, and how hard work truly pays off. 

My love for the game of basketball peaked my interest in the sports world, and I joined my student broadcasting team last year, where I was able to film and perform commentary for sports beyond basketball. I hope to attend a school that allows me to play the game that I love while pursuing a degree in journalism or radio and digital communications.
