Marcus Matthews '24 Recruiting Profile

I want to play Basketball at a high level to be able to have an opportunity to provide a living for my family and I. I have a true passion about the game, always want to understand the details and how to get better and how to improve my game. Despite the achievements and obstacles life presents to us all, I still try to keep my head high and progress forward. I can be an asset to schools at the collegiate level by playing the role i’m assigned and also being an encouraging and understanding teammate; looking to better my teammates. Im also willing to work hard and give it my all wherever I end up in the future. Lastly, what separates me from other recruits is my understanding of things inside and outside of sports with a genuine character.
