Sincere Cowan '19 Recruiting Profile

    Hello my name is Sincere Xavier Cowan, I'm 14 years old with big basketball dreams.  I plan to one day play division one basketball , and hopefully play at the professional level.  I feel that i am a good candidate to be recruited because I'm a hard worker, and a team player, whose very coach-able. I came to Maryland live with my father from the Bronx part on NYC, with goals to better my academics, and master my craft. I'm what you would call a gym rat, I really eat, sleep, and breath the game of basketball.  Besides sports though I like to read, watch TV, attend church, and just spend time with my family.  As a role model for my siblings, everything I do affects, and is for them. Without an education I know my options are limited. With the game of basketball as an outlet I know I'm destined for greatness. To the coaches looking into recruiting me, I'm alot different from other recruits. I'm here to break the cycle my family has faced for the two last generations, which is young black men with basketball talent, and intellect that could've became anything they wanted but fell due to obstacles, hurdles, mistakes / or no guidance from older family members.The buck stops here, I plan to make my family proud!  I can and will, can't isn't apart of a my vocabulary.
