Personal Statement

Hello Coaches,

My name is Jeremiah Wright. I am very appreciative to have the opportunity to use this platform to connect with you and for you to be a partner in my progress and improvements on the court and in the classroom.

I live in St. Mary's County Maryland, about one hour and a half from Washington DC. I have had vegan diet since birth which I believe helps me stay healthy for the work that I do. Both of my parents are into church ministry and my brother is into film. I am still deciding on my college major of either Architecture, Science, or majoring in Culinarily. I love basketball and my goal is to compete at the highest level and get paid for doing what I love.

I am a coachable player and want to learn as much as possible to be the best for me and my team. I consider my strengths to be an aggressive defensive player, being a great team player, shooting, and speed. I am also a good vocal team leader on and off the court. I give my 100% all the time.

God is my main motivation for being better on and off the court.

This camp is for rising 9-12th graders, Post-Graduate and Junior College Prospects. This camp will give you an opportunity to showcase your skills Infront of Division I coaches here at Stony Brook University. This camp will consist of a facilities tour, prospect measurements from our strength and performance coach, and drills and scrimmaging led by our coaching staff. There are only 90 spots available.

Youngstown State University Men's Elite Basketball Camp August 2023

Youngstown State University Men's Basketball Camps are held at Beeghly Center on the Youngstown State University campus in Youngstown, Ohio. YSU Men's Basketball Camps are led by Head Coach Jerrod Calhoun and the Penguins Men's Basketball coaching staff. mensbasketball.penguinscamps.com  We take pride in running this event with including everything that would take place on an unofficial visit. Elite Camp participants will have the opportunity to : * Play directly in front of college coaches * Tour Facilities, Campus * Learn about the many academic programs we offer here at YSU * Interact directly with current players, coaches and support staff * Have an opportunity to experience a recruiting presentation in which we present to every recruit, as well as educate players on the process of being recruited. * Go through both offense and defensive concepts that are being implemented at the Division 1 Level * Learn about the community and everything the City of Youngstown has to offer outside of Basketball and School! In addition, Elite Camp is our primary recruiting tool for High School & Post Graduate Basketball players. For example, just this past month alone we have offered scholarship opportunities to over 6 players across 4 events and have 4 former Elite Camp participants on our current roster! Also, many other players who have attended are on our current recruiting radar for their given class who we will watch throughout this upcoming season. Various players have been presented opportunities from other universities based on their elite camp performance! Structure What has helped our program with recruiting players from Elite Camp is the work we do prior to competition. For those who register online, if we can obtain highlights, film through our own research, our staff will watch thoroughly and place you on a roster with consideration to position, other players who we think will play well with. Also, if you have high school teammates, AAU teammates, friends, relatives who may want to play on the same team, we can most definitely place you guys together!

The High School Basketball All-American Showcase
9/24/22 to 9/24/22
All players will play in at least 3 games. Every player will play at least half of each game. College coaches will be invited to watch each game. Every player will participate in a skill session led by our Showcase Director. All Showcase Directors are college or professional coaches. Every player will be evaluated and these evaluations get sent to coaches nationwide. All games are filmed. College and professional coaches will be able to view every game. Players have the option to get game film and / or mixtapes.

Elite Camp Mount St. Mary's University Men's Basketball Camps

Mount St. Mary's University Men's Basketball Camps are led by the Mount St. Mary's University coaching staff and are held on the Mount St. Mary's University campus in Emmitsburg, MD. Elite camp provides rising 9th - 12th grade boys basketball players with an opportunity to play in front our entire Division 1 coaching staff as well as several local Division 3 college coaches. The day will include a variety of skill development drills in addition to full court games for player to compete and showcase their skills. Lunch and Mount Men's Basketball branded t-shirt will be provided.
