Justin Oates '19 Recruiting Profile

As a senior,  my desire is to use my athletic ability to play at the college level. I am a team player and my strengths are defense, rebounding and passing.  I am an unselfish player and very coachable.  I know I can be an asset to any program that will allow me the opportunity.  Being a part of my high school basketball team and my AAU team, I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice and leadership.  I demonstrated these characteristics on my JV team and was moved up to the Varsity team during my sophomore year.  This past summer, my AAU team Maryland 3D won several gold championships in the Elevate hoops circuit. We played some very competitive teams in the PA/NJ area. 

  I am determined to focus this upcoming year to ensure my grades are competitive to obtain an offer from college.  I believe that I not only have the talent to compete for at the next level but my character and work ethic and will sure to make a positive impact.
