Spencer Mirken '21 Recruiting Profile

I have always aspired to be a college basketball player. It’s in my DNA,. I come from a long line of  college  and high school basketball players and coaches .

I’ve been playing competitively since I was 7 years old, traveling up and down the east coast for aau tournaments,  building trust and relationships with teammates of all diverse backgrounds, experiencing the  thrill of  last second buzzer beaters and the heartbreak of a playoff loss.  I get what it takes to be a team player and what it takes to succeed.Being a point guard has helped me grow in my leadership skills, and with my ability to bring people together,  I believe I couldn’t be a great teammate and asset to any program. 

I have a great desire to learn and grow not only athletically but academically. I want my career goals to ultimately come fist and align with any institution that might afford me a positive athletic opportunity as well.
