Personal Statement

My number one goal for college is to earn a degree in my field of study and succeed academically. While I do that, I also aspire to earn a 4-year starting position on the basketball team while at the same time meet new friends, teammates and eventually family. My hard work on and off the court has helped me improve all aspects of my game. As a result, I received a spot on varsity as an 8th grader and a starting position as a freshman. I believe this hard work, drive to succeed and my coachability, as well as my love for the game of basketball, makes me a prime candidate for a team at the next level.
