Nicolas Johnson '22 Recruiting Profile

I have always wanted to be a collegiate athlete for as long as I can remember, but I also understand the importance of academics and I strive to be a great student first. I carry a 3.81 overall GPA and pride myself on also being a 3 sport athlete at my high school participating and excelling in football, basketball and baseball. I pride myself on being a leader of men even though many are older than me right now. I was voted a team captain for our football team as a sophomore and also received our team leadership award as a sophomore for our varsity basketball team. I also pride myself on my preparation in the classroom, in the weight room and on the field or court in competition.  I recently was selected to our MHSAA Student Advisory Council and will serve a 2 year term. I feel very fortunate to have been one of eight new members selected from over 175 nominations. I look forward to building new relationships with many students across the state of Michigan.
