Corey Townsend Jr. '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Corey Townsend Jr. I am a Junior at Flint Powers Catholic High School. I am currently maintaining and improving a 3.9 GPA. I am returning member of my school's Varsity Basketball Team. I love and have a strong passion for the game of Basketball. I strive for Greatness and work Vigorously 6 days a week to further improve and perfect my game. 

I feel that my Greatest  attribute is that I am very hardworking both on and off the court. Many Coaches complement me on my work Ethic and being Coachable. I love making my Teammates the best that they can be. Three strong points of mine are Defense, Attacking the Rim, and Basketball IQ. My Passing skills and Spot up Shooting are nice assets to my game. The tougher the competition is, the better I perform. My Competitiveness and Leadership ability is what defines me when I am on the court.

I strongly believe in God and his impact in my Life. God's influence in my Life has encouraged me to stay Humble, Respectful, and to treat others as God would. God's plan for me is Great and I am excited and willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill it. 

My Ultimate goal is to play Basketball at a Division 1 or 2 level program that offers me great opportunities Educationally and Athletically. I am undecided as in to rather to I be an Engineering or Sports Medicine Physician.
