Darnell Ross Jr '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Darnell Ross Jr, and my goal is to play basketball at the collegiate level while earning a degree that prepares me for success beyond the court. I'm looking for a program where I can contribute to a competitive culture, grow as an athlete, and develop as a leader.

What sets me apart is my commitment to hard work, on and off the floor. I’m coachable, driven, and pride myself on being a great teammate.Someone who leads by example, supports others, and puts the team first. Athletically, I bring energy and also the mentality to be a dog on the court as a shooting guard  and I’m always working to improve my game.

Academically, I’m focused and disciplined. I understand that being a student-athlete means excelling in the classroom as much as on the court. I manage my time well and hold myself to a high standard in everything I do.

Also I believe character is revealed when no one is watching, and I hold myself accountable in every area of life. I would be honored to bring my work ethic, passion, and resilience to a program that values growth, team unity, and excellence.
