Connor Kavanagh '18 Recruiting Profile

I have a strong interest in Criminal Justice / Marketing and Business. I am dedicated to learning and developing my basketball skills, such as waking up Sunday mornings and traveling an hour each way for an hour of personal training, going on about 3 years. I believe the coaches I have played for would speak to my sportsmanship and team mentality.  I am proud of my nominations to the People to People Student Ambassador Program and Rachel's Challenge Team in Middle School as recognition of the strength of my character. I have demonstrated my loyalty when my original AAU coach left the Greg Grant Basketball Club, and I stayed with the club despite having no replacement AAU team at my age group.  I played on House teams for several sessions because of my desire to remain associated with Greg and Lori Grant, and eventually tried out for another AAU club team as they moved from an independent club to joining the GGBC. I have remained under the GGBC flagship as a player, plus have recently furthered my love for the game and for younger kids by coaching a 5th/ 6th grade league team.
