Mitchell Monahan '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was in second grade. Everyday growing and becoming a better player. When I was in eighth grade, my middle school team went to Indiana to play in the national tournament after coming third in the state tournament. Playing in the tournament gave me a whole different look on the sport. I saw how good other players were and what they were doing on the court and wanted to become a better player than I was. Although my team did not win a game in that tournament, it taught me self-confidence and persistence. And also taught me great skills as a power forward that I think would benefit your program.

As for in the classroom, I hope to be a great student as well as a great athlete. I want to have a 4.0 GPA and strive everyday to become better and smarter.
