Ever since I was around four years old, I was first introduced to sports and haven't stopped since. From my mother growing up in Puerto Rico, to my father moving to different states as a child, I have always learned the values from them of hard work, positivity, and to contribute to my teams no matter what. I have been playing basketball and baseball my whole life, and have run all four years of track and field at my high school, De La Salle Collegiate. Although I was very active in these sports, basketball was my first love and my most passionate sport. I strive to become the best player I can be on and off the court. As a player, I love criticism from coaches because it shapes me as a better player, a better person, and it pushes me to become a better teammate. I push myself every day to become a collegiate player and hopefully even a step higher in the future. Lastly, I try to become a teammate that will not only bring competitiveness to the team but someone who can mentor the team and someone who can lift players when they are down.
