Basketball is all I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember. I take pride in my defense and I know how to fit into most offenses and be a playmaker as a role player or first option. Every time I step on the court I put my all into to getting better and into every play.
As a teammate, I try to get everyone involved in most plays because when everyone feels included the team works better together. I’m not a selfish player but I can do what needs to be done when no one else steps up. I encourage my teammates in practice and on the bench because I understand what it feels like to think you’re at fault for a bad play or even when you’ve lost confidence in yourself. It’s important to be your teammates brother because teams need to become families in order to win. A team together flows like a single mind itself, and when a team is dysfunctional you can see it.
Besides my love for the game, I'd like to pursue a higher education. My academics weren’t always important to me in the past, I didn’t give all my effort and it shows. Recently that's changed and I would like to go to college and find a career that suits me. I’d love to go to college to better my future, not just myself but my family and the people around me.
