Jon Christensen '11 Recruiting Profile

I�??d like to introduce myself, my name is Jon Christensen. I am currently a 6�??6�?? junior at Lakeville South High School located in Lakeville, Minnesota. I�??ve played on the varsity as a sophomore and started this year as a junior on a very competitive team. Our final record was 20-9, playing in the Lake Conference, class 4A. We lost in the section final. The Lake Conference is considered by many to be the toughest conference in Minnesota and is full of college prospects. I led my team in rebounds (174), was second in scoring (11ppg), and was named All Conference. I will be a captain on next year�??s team. My summer AAU team, the Minnesota Heat Elite, finished 36-10 last year playing against the best teams in the nation. We participated in major tournaments including the Pump and Run Invite in Bloomington Mn., Best Buy summer classic in Chicago, All Iowa Attack in Ames, Iowa, the Nike Invite in Las Vegas and the national AAU tournament in Orlando. This year we are off to a good start, making the final 8 in the Jayhawk Invitational several weeks ago. We plan on trips to Chicago and Las Vegas as well as playing in many local tournaments this summer. Please review the attached video, I am number 21. I enjoy the physical part of the game and am at my best when challenged. My current GPA is around 3.4 and my first ACT score was 22.
