Ryan Miller '19 Recruiting Profile

     My goal is find a college that is the perfect fit for me and where I will be able to achieve my academic goals, play basketball and be a contributing member to the team.  Faith, family, academics and basketball are all very important to me.  I hope to find a college that values all of those things as well.  Right now, I think I would like to become an athletic trainer and a basketball coach.  

    The opportunity to continue to play basketball beyond high school is a dream of mine .   I am working hard to improve my basketball skills and my game and become the best person I can.  I love the complexity and the simplicity of the game of basketball - the players - the team - the coaches - the environment - the fans - learning new skills, plays, moves - playing defense and rebounding.   Every time I play basketball, I strive to improve my game, work hard, be a coachable player, make a positive difference on the court, and be the best teammate I can be.   

     Off the court I enjoy spending time at our cabin with my family, fishing, paddle boarding, swimming and just being outside.  I also enjoy watching movies and playing video games with my friends.  In school, I am a strong student.  Math and science are some of my favorite classes.  I working hard to improve my GPA and finish high school strong.  

     It would be an incredible privilege to have the opportunity to continue to be challenged, improve, learn and contribute to a college basketball program no matter where or what division.   With my hard work and the help and support of my parents and family, coaches and trainers, I will achieve the goal of playing basketball at the next level.
