Ian McDonald '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Ian and I just graduated from Lee's Summit West High School and my goal is to play at the collegiate level. I know my height might be the first weakness you see but I play hard. My greatest strength is beyond the 3 point line. I'm a deadeye shooter and a great ball handler with good court vision and can make plays for my teammates. I rarely turn the ball over and my assist to turnover ratio is above average.  I communicate on both ends of the floor and am a natural leader and bring automatic energy to whoever I play for.

I'm a multisport athlete as well. I grew up playing football, basketball, and track and field. I stopped football my 8th grade year and track my sophomore to focus on trying to make it to the collegiate level in basketball.
