Personal Statement
Playing on the UAA circuit for my first year was an experience that really opened my eyes to how many great players are out there. This is just one of the many circuits that are out there. So, what makes me special from everyone else out there? I took an examine called the Clifton Strengths test that shows you your personality. My top 2 strengths were a competitor and an achiever. What this shows about me is I will continue to strive to get to that next level or achievement. Also, I consider myself to be a great leader. All the way through the 8th grade my dad coached the team I played for. I believe as the coaches son, that all the players look to you for what to do. You have to set an example for what to do for them. I have attended multiple leadership camps for school, and now am transferring the stuff over the student council and on the court.
I go to a school called LEAD Innovation Studio. The goal of the school is to have the students be self taught and work at your own pace. I sacrificed being with my friends to come here because I knew it would be best for my academic success. I was gifted with academic ability and self motivation and finished with 4.0 gpa.
