Kory Ricker '18 Recruiting Profile

Its been my dream to play basketball at the college level for as long as I can remember. I work hard in all aspects of life whether it be in the gym, in the classroom, or at my job. I am someone my teammates and coaches can rely on, on and off the court. I'm not afraid to embrace my role on the team, whatever is needed to be done for the team to win I will do.

Ability: "Kory has really came on strong his senior year. He is running cross country and the cross country coach is very pleased with Kory's dedication as well as his performance. I have seen a lot of growth athletically his senior year. He get's up and down the floor very well. His hands have improved. He also has shown that he wants to be a leader on his team this year. He is a great rebounder. Kory is very unselfish and been working on his passing quite a bit. His biggest asset to our team is his offensive rebounding and finishing around the rim. He has becoming a much improved defender and rim protect. At 6 foot 6 he is a big asset to our team in class 2 boys. I am looking forward to a break out year from him this year as he has been working harder than I've seen and I have known him for 6 years."
Personality: "Kory is a social stud. He is a very likeable young man that interacts well with his peers. He is not shy about meeting new people and is a great communicator. He has many friends in Van Buren and would be willing to do anything for his friends. I think Kory will do well in a college setting anywhere he goes. "
