My goals, academically, are to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in an area of business so that I can get an apprenticeship, and eventually start moving up in the workforce. Athletically, my goal is to be a part of a college team, be it track or basketball, to further drive my athletic talents. I became interested in track and field because when I was younger, we had a high school team that had a member who was a state competitor that I looked up to. He hung out with me and played with me when I was bored and I always asked if I could go running with them and the coach occasionally let me. Ever since I have always wanted to be on the track team and be like that. That has led me to where I am today. I am the fastest runner in my school and I have a state title in the 300m hurdles under my belt. I also took fourth place in the 110m hurdles and got the high-point award on our team. I became interested in basketball because I have an older brother who has played basketball since he was in the fourth grade. I wanted to do the same thing that he did. I started playing organized basketball as soon as I got to the fourth grade and I absolutely love the sport. I still play it today and I still love it. I was the first player ever from Turner, MT to make the Montana All-Hi-line basketball team and was co-MVP of our basketball team two years in a row and I still have one year left.
