Zander Baxter '24 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for reading my personal statement.  I want to share that I’ve played on many teams and I have been a player under many coaches. In the past, every time that I have been on a team, I have been under the impression that I need to fill a role. That I need to do what everyone else did in order to succeed. In the past two years of basketball, however, I have learned that my job is to create a role on my team.  Don't take a role, make a role.  I’ve learned that I need to lead on the court, and to be vocal in practice. What I want is to do these things at the highest level possible for as long as possible, and I believe that I am being prepared to do so.
