Personal Statement

Being part of a two time state qualifying basketball team has been a ride as a sophomore. Each time we have been to state we have competed against great teams. I have played with and competed against some amazing players. We had two back to back seasons of 20 or more wins and I plan to keep that going this upcoming year. Realizing that those guys, the ones who led the team, were leaving drives me to stand out and become a better player. I want to be that guy that the coach can rely on.

I would enjoy the opportunity to play basketball in college immensely because it would allow me to express myself in a fun, competitive, physical, and stress-relieving environment. I would like to become a civil engineer so I can help others by improving the infrastructure of our nation.
